  I will never go back to a regular optometrist in a shopping centre ever again after my visit with Optomize who I found out when I was there is the last independent optometrist left in Mandurah. I went in with my daughter after we were referred to them by a friend and she did many tests in the long, comprehensive 45 min appointment that covers much more than the shopping centre places cover. Marry-Rose who is the owner checked both our eyes and are very knowledgeable, and explain your eye issues and their recommendations really well. Optomize also do a lot of specialised eye testing such as for children and specific eye conditions. I have recommended them to my family and friends. I feel like I was really looked after and I will return for sure. Thank You for a great service.

  We have been to this optometrist for many years, this one particular occasion my husband had heavy pressure in his eye and it was blood shot. We discussed going to a normal GP but I had decided to give Optimize a call, explained the situation, she managed to squeeze us in for an emergency booking and referred us straight to an eye specialist (in Mandurah Central) and he was medicated straight away with steroids and ordered to rest, as he could lose his eye sight. We were extremely lucky that it did not eventuate to that, as he was diagnosed early and was taken care by a professional optometrist and not a GP.
