    Found that the lights situated around the bbq areas don't switch on after dark, so bring a lantern or torch for those nightly gatherings.

    Fantastic place for a picnic or bbq. Toilet facilities are available (which is hard to find nowadays..but recommend bringing your own paper), and kids have heaps of stuff to keep them entertained.

    It's an amazing place for kids of all ages. It's a remodeled quarry with loads of equipment for all kids. There is a nice barbecue area where you can have a great picnic. A perfect setting for even a birthday party!

    Beautiful place! kids can spend hours doing many things and burn lots of calories. Also lovely place for picnic and meeting friends over Bbq. Food/coffee van in the morning also made my days.

    Awesome park with a number of places to picnic and several play areas. For parents with active kids they roam around a fair bit which can make it hard to keep an eye on them. But the mingling of nature, the quarry and the equipment works well. Plenty of shade for summer, BBQs, a water supply and a toilet block. Occasionally there is a outdoor cinema here which works well with the design of the park.
